4:45 PM: Old Dominion QB Taylor Heinicke threw for 730 yards & 5 TDs in the Monarchs' 64-61 win over New Hampshire Saturday. Heinicke finished six yards short of the NCAA all-time single-game passing record set by Sam Durley of Eureka College earlier this month.
4:30 PM: The Washington Nationals' Gio Gonzalez became the first MLB pitcher to win 20 games this season in Saturday's 10-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

2:15 PM: The lawyer for Marcus Vick said his client couldn't make it to court Friday because Vick is currently unemployed in Atlanta. A judge issued an arrest warrant for Vick when he didn't show up to face charges of driving with a suspended license.

1:45 PM: Hayward (California) High School had to move its scheduled Friday night football game to earlier in the afternoon after thieves stole the wiring that powered the field's lights & scoreboard.
